Run-off Election Return from July 13,
2010 Now Available
A
Message From Judge Davis
Election year 2010 has
arrived. There appears to be a tremendous interest in federal, state
and local elections. This office urges all citizens of
Limestone County, who
are eligible, to register to vote and become a participant in the
democratic process. If you have relocated (resident address) since the
last election, please update your voter information with the Board of
Registrars. Your residential address determines where you vote and for
whom you are eligible to vote.
The election
officials of this county continue to strive to make Election Day a
rewarding, pleasant experience. You can do your part by seeking to get
all relevant information in regard to the process before the day of the
election.
This website provides
information that will hopefully assist in your election process. Maps of
Limestone County are included which illustrate voting beat lines, county
commission districts lines, county school board districts lines, state
house and senate districts lines. Each map identifies its various
political boundaries. This office encourages you to get involved in the
process. Go to the polls, "shade the oval" next to your candidates name
and get your "I VOTED" sticker.
Later, join family
and friends, as an old tradition is renewed with "Election Night on the
Square". Come sit under the trees on the east side of the Courthouse as
election results are announced and placed on the big screen.
Please contact Bobbi
Bailey, Elections Director of Limestone County, at 256-233-6427 for more
information.
With kind
regards, I am
Sincerely,
Judge Michael L. Davis |
